Christmas arrives early in Stockbury
Christmas has come early for the villagers of Stockbury.
Just 18 months ago they faced losing their local shop and post office. But
on Monday 6 December, cookery writer Michael Barry will help the community
roll up the shutters on a new village store.
The initiative has brought together the post office, general stores and the
village's award-winning butchers, M B Farms, in purpose-built premises at
Parsonage Farm.
